This year the World Employment Confederation is counting down to the 50th anniversary of its creation.

Three days in September will be dedicated to discussion of the most pressing questions on employment and the jobs market of the future, with a strong focus on the theme “The Labour Market Dynamics in the Digital Age”. Workforce solutions providers from 50 countries will discuss the best solutions for the different challenges faced.

As the leading solution in France to offer temp staffing management, PIXID is partnering with WEC this year to support discussions and to promote best practices for the recruitment and labor management in the digital age.

Etienne Colella, PIXID CEO:

We are proud to be a partner of this year’s WEC to foster discussions on labor market digitalisation, big data, the gig economy and posted workers, all issues that are dominating the agenda for platforms such as ours.

The digital age has transformed the way we work every day and the way employment intermediaries operate – improving efficiencies, fostering innovation and cementing their role as enablers who can help companies source entire workforces within a few clicks.

One of the prospects afforded by the WEC is also to raise awareness of – and further develop – our international expansion plans. We represent 25% of the temporary labour market in France and made our first foray into the UK market with the acquisition of The Internet Corporation (including the Amris and Zao brands) back in the Spring. Germany also is a key target for 2018, with the Nordics in our sights beyond that.

The employment market continues to evolve and our ambition remains to provide a true end-to-end solution for flexible workforce. Learning more about labor market dynamics in the digital age and sharing our vision of what it entails at WEC is the next step of our journey to achieving just that.
